A blue sticker
sent by

Mick Collins RMP was on car
parking duties at the Officers Mess in Dhekelia in the mid sixties. His
orders were that there were two car parks, cars with red stickers (V.I.P.)
would be put in one car park. Cars with blue stickers (odds and sods) in
the other. All going well until up drives the Padre with a blue sticker
and indicates his desire to go into the red car park. Mick shakes his head
and indicates the blue car park whereupon the Padre jumps from his car
and informs Mick that "My superior said I could park there".
Mick clapped his hands together
in prayer and said "Who am I to argue with him". The Padre went into the
red car park.
