The 50th. Anniversary of the Korean War is almost upon us and it seems appropriate that once again we have the opportunity to give prominence to our ship - HMS Amethyst. Some six months after her memorable escape from the Chinese on the Yangtze River, sadly not without casualties, she was back, facing up to them again and the North Koreans.
