Information
Issued to all British Forces. This Medal was instituted for award to personnel of all services, and thus did away with the need for separate Army and Navy General service Medals. Awards range from a mere 70 for South  Vietnam to over 130.000 for service in Northern Ireland.
Description
Obverse: The crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II with the legend "ELIZABTH I DEI GRATIA REGINA F: D:+" Reverse: A wreath and crown surrounding the words "FOR CAMPAIGN SERVICE" Ribbon: Purple with Green edges. 
Bars
Borneo, Radfan, South Arabia, Malay Peninsular, South Vietnam, Northern Ireland, Dhofar, Lebanon, Gulf, Mine Clearance--Gulf of Suez, Kuwait, N. Iraq & S.  Turkey, Air Operations Iraq.
