Marine Matthew Harrison, 40 Commando Royal Marines, was killed in a small arms engagement whilst on a joint reassurance patrol with the Afghan National Army south of Patrol base Seylab Doo on 13th July 2010, he was mortally wounded and died at Camp Bastion Role Three Hospital.
Major James Joshua Bowman, 1st Battalion The Royal Gurkha Rifles,
Lieutenant Neal Turkington, 1st Battalion The Royal Gurkha Rifles,
Corporal Arjun Purja Pun, 1st Battalion The Royal Gurkha Rifles,
were killed in a attack by a member of the Afghan National Army on 13th July 2010.
Marine David Charles Hart, 40 Commando Royal Marines, was killed on foot patrol by an explosion on 8th july 2010 in Sangin.
Bombardier Samuel Joseph Robinson, 5th Regiment Royal Artillery, was killed in an explosion whilst on a foot patrol in the sangin district on 8th July 2010.
Private Thomas Sephton, 1st Battalion The Mercian Regiment, died on 5th July 2010 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham from wounds sustained in an explosion during a patrol to clear a road in the Upper Gereshk Valley on Sunday 4 July 2010.
Trooper James Anthony Leverett, Royal Dragoon Guards, was killed in an explosion when his Viking armoured vehicle struck an improvised explosive device in the Nahr-e Saraj district of Helmand province on Monday 5 July 2010.
A Royal Marine was killed in southern Afghanistan on Thursday 1 July 2010.
Corporal Jamie Kirkpatrick, 101 Engineer Regiment (Explosive Ordnance Disposal), was killed in a small arms engagement with insurgent forces in the Nahr-e Saraj district of Helmand province on 27 June 2010.
Bombardier Stephen Raymond Gilbert, 4th Regiment Royal Artillery, died in hospital in Birmingham on 26th June 2010 from wounds sustained in Afghanistan on 10th June 2010 as the result of an explosion.

were killed when their vehicle rolled into a waterway near Gereshk on 23rd June 2010.
Sergeant Steven William Darbyshire, 40 Commando Royal Marines, was killed by small arms fire during a small arms engagement with insurgent forces on 23rd June 2010 whlst on a security patrol in Sangin.
Lance Corporal Michael Taylor, Charlie Company, 40 Commando Royal Marines, was killed during a small arms engagement with insurgents on 22nd June 2010 whilst he was manning a patrol base sangar.
Marine Paul Warren, 40 Commando Royal Marines, was killed in an explosion on 21st June 2010 when Patrol Base Airport Lounge was attacked by insurgents.
Marine Richard Hollington, 40 Commando Royal Marines, died on 20th June 2010 in Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham from wounds sustained in Afghanistan when he was caught in an explosion on 12th June 2010.
Trooper Ashley Smith from The Royal Dragoon Guards, Viking Group, D (The Green Horse) Squadron, was killed by an explosion on 18th June 2010 whilst providing security to a Check Point improvement task.

Kingsman Ponipate Tagitaginimoce,
were both killed during seperate firefights with insurgents on 15th June 2010 whilst carrying out a security patrols in Northern Nad 'Ali, Helmand Province.
Marine Steven James Birdsall, 40 Commando Royal Marines, died on 14th June 2010 in Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham from a gunshot wounded sustained in Afghanistan on 13th June 2010.
Lance Corporal Andrew Breeze, B (Malta) Company, 1st Battalion The Mercian Regiment (Cheshire), was killed by an explosion during an operation to clear an area near Check Point Kingshill in order to increase security, on 12th June 2010.
Private Jonathan Monk, 2nd Battalion The Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment, was killed by an explosion in the Nahr-e Saraj district of Helmand province during a foot patrol to clear improvised explosive devices on 9th June 2010.

Gunner Zak Cusack, 4th Regiment Royal Artillery, was killed by smallarms fire during an engagement with insurgent forces near Enezai Village.
Cpl Stephen Walker from 40 Commando Royal Marine, was killed by an explosion during a combined patrol with Afghan National Army troops near Patrol base Almas in Sangin, on 21st May 2010.
Corporal Christopher Lewis Harrison, 40 Commando Royal Marines, was fatally wounded by an explosion during a combined patrol with Afghan National Army troops near Patrol base Almas in Sangin, on 21st May 2010.
Sapper Daryn Roy, 21 Engineer Regiment, died after his vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device near Patrol base Pimon in Nad 'Ali, the sapper died after being evacuated by helicopter to the hspital at Camp Bastion.
Lance Corporal Barry Buxton, 21 Engineer Regiment, died on 3rd May 2010 from injuries sustained in an accident along the Nahr-e Bughra canal when his vehicle rolled into the canal after the road collapsed.
Corporal Harvey Holmes, 1st Battalion The Mercian Regiment, was killed by an explosion near patrol base Waterloo in Sangin on 2nd May 2010 whilst providing protection for a patrol.
Fusilier Jonathan Burgess, 1st Battalion The Royal Welsh, died from gunshot wounds following a small arms engagement in the Nad 'Ali area of Helmand province on 7th April 2010.

Rifleman Daniel Holkham, 3rd Battalion The Rifles, was killed by an explosion triggered by a suicide bomber east of Sangin district centre on 27th March 2010.
Lance Corporal of Horse Jonathan Woodgate, Household Cavalry Regiment, was killed by a grenade on 26th March 2010 while on foot patrol south of Sangin district centre.
Serjeant Steven Campbell, 3rd Battalion The Rifles, was killed by an improvised explosive device during a patrol south of Sangin district centre on 22nd March 2010.

Captain Martin Driver, 1st Battalion The Royal Anglian Regiment, died in Selly Oak Hospital on 15th March 2010 from wounds sustained in an explosion which occured in the Musa Qal'Ah district on 21st February 2010.
Corporal Stephen Thompson, 1st Battalion The Rifles, died as the result of an explosion south of Sangin district centre on 7th March 2010.
Lance Corporal Tom Keogh, 4th Battalion The Rifles, died from small arms fire near Sangin on 7th March 2010.
Rifleman Liam Maughan, 3rd Battalion The Rifles, died from wounds sustained from small arms fire near Sangin on 6th March 2010.
Rifleman Jonathon Allott of 3rd Battalion the Rifles, died from wounds received when a improvised explosion device exploded near Sangin on 5th March 2010.
Corporal Richard Green, 3rd Battalion The Rifles, died from small arms fire near Sangin on 2nd March 2010.
Rifleman Carlo Apolis, 4th Battalion The Rifles, was killed by a gunshot wound during an operation near patrol base Blenheim on 1st March 2010.
Sergeant Paul Fox, 28 Engineer Regiment, was attached to the Brigade Reconnaissance Force when he was killed by an improvised explosive device on a foot patrol in southern Nad 'Ali on 26th February 2010.
Rifleman Martin Kinggett, 4th Battalion The Rifles, was shot and killed on 25th February 2010 whilst on foot patrol in Sangin.
Senior Aircraftman Luke Southgate, II Squadron Royal Air Force Regiment, was killed on 24th February 2010 when his WMIK land rover was struck by an Improvised Explosive Device whilst on patrol as part of Kandahar Airfield Force Protection Wing.
Lance Sergeant David 'Davey' Walker, 1st Battalion Scots Guards, was killed whilst on a foot patrol on 18th February 2010 during Operation Moshtarak.
Lieutenant Douglas Dalzell, 1st Battalion The Coldstream Guards, was injured during Operation Moshtarak on 18th February 2010 by an explosion and died from his wounds.
Sapper Guy Mellors, 36 Engineer Regiment, was killed by an explosion north=east of Sangin district centre whilst serving as part of the Counter-Improvised Explosive Device Task Force on 15th Febuary 2010.
Kingsman Sean Dawson, 2nd Battalion The Duke of Lancaster's Regiment, was killed by small arms fire during a contact with insurgents in the Musa Qal'ah district of Helmand province on 14th February 2010.
Rifleman Mark Marshall, 6th Battalion The Rifles, was killed by an Improvised Explosive Device while on foot patrol north east of Sangin, Helmand province on 14th February 2010.
Lance Sergeant Dave Greenhalgh, 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards, was killed when his vehicle was struck by an Improvised Explosive Device near Lashkar Gar on 13th February 2010.

Warrant Officer Class 2 David Markland, 36 Engineer Regiment, was killed by the blast from an Improvised Explosive Device on 8th February 2010.

Captain Daniel Read, 11 Explosive Ordnance Disposal Regiment, Royal Logistic Corps, was killed by an explosion in the Musa Qaleh area of Helmand on 11th January 2010.
Private Robert Hayes, 1st Battalion The Royal Anglian Regiment, died following wounds sustained by an improvised explosive device blast whilst on a security patrol in Nad e-Ali, Helmand on 3rd January 2010.
Sapper David Watson, 33 Engineer Regiment (Explosive Ordnance Disposal), died of wounds sustained in an explosion caused by an improvised explosive device on 31st December 2009 near Patrol Base Blenheim in the Sangin region of Helmand province.
Rifleman Aidan Howell, 3rd Battalion The Rifles, was killed by an explosion during a foot patrol near Forward Operating Base Zeebrugge in the Kajaki area of Helmand province on 28th December 2009.
Lance Corporal Tommy Brown, The Parachute Regiment was killed by a suspected improvised explosive device blast during a foot patrol about 1km south of Sangin on 22nd December 2009.
Lance Corporal Christopher Roney of A Company, 3rd Battalion The Rifles, was injured during an engagement with insurgent forces on 21st December 2009 and died of his wounds following the engagement in Sangin.
Lance Corporal Michael David Pritchard of the 4th Regiment, Royal Military Police, was killed by small arms fire on 20th December 2009 in the Sangin area.
Corporal Simon Hornby, 2nd Battalion The Duke of Lancaster's Regiment, died from wounds sustained when an Improvised Explosive Device was detonated during a foot patrolin the Nad e-Ali district of Helmand on 19th December 2009.

Lance corporal Kirkness was killed when a suicide explosion device was detonated on a route into central Sangin, Helmand Province on 15th December 2009. Rifleman Brown was injured in the same blast and later died from his wounds on his way to hospital.

Corporal Loren Owen Christopher Marlton-Thomas, 33 Engineer Regiment (EOD), was killed by an improvised explosive device whilst conducting a search to clear devices near Patrol Base Sandford in the Gereskh area of Helmand on 15th November 2009.
Rifleman Andrew Ian Fentiman, 7th Battalion The Rifles, was killed by small arms fire while on patrol near Sangin on 15th November.
Rifleman Samuel John Bassett, 4th Battalion The Rifles, died in hospital following the detonation of an improvised explosive device whilst on patrol near Sangin on 8th November 2009.

Staff Sergeant Olaf Sean George Schmid, Royal Logistic Corps, was killed following an Improvised Explosive Device explosion in Sangin, Helmand Province on 31st October 2009.
Corporal Thomas 'Tam' Mason, The Black Watch, 3rd Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland (3 SCOTS), died at Selly Oak Hspital on 25th October 2009 after suffering wounds from an improvised explosive device in Kandahar, Afghanitan on 15th September 2009.
Corporal James Oakland, Royal Military Police, died from wounds sustained following an explosion during a foot patrol near Gereshk district centre in central Helmand province, 22nd October 2009.
Lance Corporal James Hill, 1st Battalion Coldstream Guards, was killed in an explosion near Camp Bastion on 8th october 2009.
Guardsman Jamie Janes, 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards, was killed by an explosion during a foot patrol near Nad e-Ali district centre in Helmand Province on 5th October 2009.

Trooper Brett Hall, 2nd Royal Tank Regiment, died at Selly Oak on 16th September 2009 from wounds sustained from an explosion that hit his patrol in north-west Helmand Province.
Kingsman Jason Dunn-Bridgeman, 2nd Battalion The Duke of Lancaster's Regiment, was killed in action with the enemy whilst on foot patrol in Babaji District on 13th September 2009.

Private Gavin Elliott, 2nd Battalion The Mercian Regiment, was killed followed a gunshot wound sustained on foot patrol in Babaji district on 3rd September 2009.
Lance Corporal Richard Brandon, Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, was killed on 2nd September 2009 when his vehicle hit an improvised explosive device during a resupply task.

Fusilier Shaun Bush, 2nd Battalion The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, died at Selly Oak on 25th August 2009 from wounds sustained in an explosion whilst on foot patrol in Sagin on 15th August 2009.

Private Richard Hunt, 2nd Battalion The Royal Welsh, died on 15th August 2009 at The Royal Centre for Defence Medicine in Selly Oak after sustaining wounds in Helmand province two days perviously.

L/Cpl Darren George died on 9th April 2002 following an incident during a security patrol in Kabul. Hostile action was not involved.
